Last year I was very lucky to be able to try out the Hana Professional Flat Iron which I happen to love. But the only thing that gets to me is when I’m traveling and having to find a way to pack my flat iron into my small bathroom bag (especially for when we’re camping). Well I was very lucky again to be able to try out the Hana Mini Flat Iron and have fallen in love with it when traveling. This past weekend my daughter, Olivia and I went to Myrtle Beach for the weekend and a little vacation. We went camping which is the best thing to do when going to Myrtle Beach. The difference between my mini and my regular flat iron is the size and also on the mini I can’t change the heat setting on it. But it does happen to fold out to a regular sized flat iron if you want it to and then you just change it back to the mini size to store it in it’s own little bag it comes in. I’m actually going to let my sister use the mini flat iron when she goes to europe for 10 days. I have to say that I normally don’t care too much to clean but lately I’ve actually enjoyed it. I was one of the chosen to be able to test out an amazing new product called Vroom. It’s really cool because it’s a vaccum to put under either your kitchen counter or under your bathroom counter and it’s hidden from the rest of the world. Another great thing about the Vroom is you can be able to vaccum and not have to lug around your large one or have to get the trouble of lugging it around the house. I have to say that since having the Vroom it’s been great because when the kitchen floor needs to be swept or vaccumed then all I’ve had to do is whip out the Vroom and do it very quickly.

I have to say now that summer is here and definitely here to stay it’s so nice to have a Hamilton Beach Thermal Cooler Blender to use to make smoothies and even mixed drinks with. If you have long, or short hair you can use this amazing product. It’s called the HairZing and I have to say that I love it. I have used it on Olivia’s hair now on Sunday’s because she’s too active and ends up breaking things or losing things that are in her hair. But I have gotten so many compliments on the HairZing. Lately I’ve been on a funk in writing reviews but I’m back and happy to be back and reviewing. Sorry for the no posts for a while…but I’m back. Yah!

Eco.Kid was nice enough to send me a nice full size sample of their Prevent Shampoo and Nourish Conditioner. Eco.Kid is an Eco Friendly company that has products that are organic and safe to use on children. They are all tear free which is awesome for my daughter Olivia who claims that a lot of the shampoo out there hurts her eyes. Their products smell amazing and I was even told one day by one of her teachers at daycare that they love the scent of her hair. I had to tell them where I got it from and they said they were going to have to try it out too for their kids. Eco.Kid is definitely Kid friendly which a lot of organic companies out there are not. Their prices are not too steep either which is a blessing in disguise because I am one who does not like to spend a lot on hair care or other hygiene products. Another thing that I have fallen in love with the shampoo and conditioner is that it does not make her hair oily which means that I can go a couple of days without washing her hair (unless she gets some kind of food in it).

I highly recommend Eco.Kid because of their kid-friendly products and how they are all Hypo-Allergenic which is another big plus in my eyes since we have a lot of reactions to different products out there already. The prices are just right and it doesn’t take very long to wait for your order. This is a product that I will continue to purchase for the near future for sure.

I have to say that finding cute PJ’s in my size is sometimes a little difficult but I was sent a very nice set from Hatley Nature and have to say they are my favorite pair out there. I love the way that they fit and how comfortable they are. I received the Go Fish Pajama Pants and Go Fish Screen Print TShirt. Both of which I love. I have to say that they are amazing products and they wash very well too and I don’t have to worry about them shrinking much at all. I like to wear them even out to Walmart which I have done about 3 times already. I mean we’re talking about the local Wally World and it’s not a huge deal to me of what I look like. I love this set for sure. I actually plan on getting another pair on my next paycheck.

I love to read and have loved to do so since I was young. It was something that I always showed interest to and have found that it takes me to places that I’ve never been to and want to go to. I also like reading books that will help me out in different situations like love, friendship, and relationships. Well there is a book out there by Suzy Welch called “10-10-10” and it’s an amazing book. It’s something that honestly gets to me in a good way knowing that I’m not the only one out there struggling in so many different situations. I have to say that the way that Suzy wrote the book was incredible and she put her heart and soul into. Not only did she share her struggles but showed how we all can get around them. The book is definitely a life transforming book that will help you regain who you are. It’s not as simple as you might think because it might take 10 minutes, 10 months or 10 years to transform but after reading the book it helps you make that decision.  Anyone can read this book from college students to parents.

I have to say that this is one of the best books that I have read in a long time. I highly suggest reading this book if you are just looking for something good to read. I know that our local library has two copies of this book and if you live near me then feel free to let me know and I’ll get it over to you.

Do you love to cook? Are you the one who really is into cooking? I like to cook but honestly it’s not my favorite when I have to cook the same old same every night. I like to give a variety of selections to my family and I found a new cookbook that does just that. The Good Home Cookbook has been tested in home kitchens across the USA and that’s a plus for me. Another thing that I love about this cookbook is some of the recipes are so simple to follow. I will say that I’m not the best cook out there but for me to follow simple and easy recipes is just what I like to do. Plus I do have a very picky 5 year old who doesn’t like to try new things. But she has tried several of the recipes that I’ve given to her and eaten them. They are keepers for sure. With over 1000 recipes to try what do you have to lose? It’s not like they are very hard to follow like some of the recipes in other cookbooks are and some are very delicious too. I was thinking of giving my cookbook to my aunt who loves to cook for her birthday but I have decided to keep it instead. It’s something that I could use and enjoy.
