I will say this and that is I LOVE Soda! I’m am always drinking it no matter where I am. Yes I complain a lot about my weight but soda is my outlet. I’m in love with the stuff but I know that it can be bad for you and the environment too because think of all those soda cans and bottles that so many people just throw away instead of recycling them. It harms our earth. Well luckily I found Soda Stream and am able to make my own Soda and not have to worry about hurting the environment. I was so happy when I received the package because honestly I couldn’t wait to try it. I had been looking it up online and felt that this is the perfect item for all moms because you can make your own soda not only with the soda mixes that come with your package but you can use your favorite juice too! Now I have to say that it was quite easy to set this thing up and and it’s so easy to make your own soda. Here’s all the steps that are involved: Fill the reusable bottle up with cold water, twist the bottle onto the machine, push the carbonator button 3 times at least and a little more depending on your taste, untwist the bottle off the machine, add your flavoring of soda from the container you chose, put the cap onto the reusable bottle and gently shake to mix the soda. Then grab yourself a glass with ice and have you some of your freshly made soda. When you are finished using your soda for the day just stick the remaining of the soda in the fridge to where you will still have the fizz from the first time you made it. Then after that rinse the bottle with lukewarm water to clean out the bottle and presto your ready to make another soda. It’s easy peasy if you ask me!!!
Last night I made RootBeer and Yum. Olivia even tried it out and she will actually drink it. Plus today we made Lemon-Lime soda which is similar to Sprite and also made the Cranberry/Raspberry Soda which tastes like the Cranberry 7Up that comes in stores during the holiday season. Yum. Tomorrow I’m going to try and make some soda that has juice in it for Olivia and also do some flavored water that is like Seltzer water. Yum. I can’t wait!! This is the perfect solution for those of you who drink a lot of soda, but don’t want anything harmful to go in your kids or don’t want all those calories. Don’t you fret because that’s exactly what this machine is for!
