Today my daughter wanted to have some chocolate milk or strawberry milk but here’s the thing. She’s not allowed either. Due to her ADHD we went ahead and cut both of those out of her diet. But she wanted some rice milk this morning with some kind of flavoring. So I went ahead and poured some rice milk in her cup, added some of my gingerbread coffee-mate into the cup and stirred. Immediately she had gingerbread milk and it was a nice treat for her. She really enjoyed it and had another glass after that first one. She will be getting this more often and I might have to purchase other flavorings as well to give her a little bit of a variety. So if you have a child that you don’t want to have any chocolate milk then just add some coffee-mate flavoring. It worked wonders for Olivia and no complaints from her about her stomach hurting today.
