Last week I received a very nice package of the Heavy Flow Kit from LunaPads to give a try. I have to say that recently I have been trying to do everything to go green and this is the perfect way to go green ladies. Lunapads are reusable menstral cycle pads. I was a little weary about trying them but honestly I love them!!! I have found that they are very soft and honestly they don’t feel like you are wearing anything which in my opinion is great! I hate feeling like I am wearing a diaper or something every time I get my period. Well I have also noticed that with the LunaPads they catch everything and have had no leaks what so ever. Especially on my heaviest day and night. I wore the Heavy Flow Long Maxi with the Long Maxi Wing Liner to bed the other night and woke up to find that not only was I not leaking but that I still felt very comfortable with them on. A lot of the time when I am wearing an Always it feels like the diaper is giving me a wedgie (as Olivia would call it). LunaPads are affordable too which I love because not only are you going green when you begin to use them but you also save some green too!
LunaPads are made with 100% Cotton to make it feel more natural and more comfortable to you. Plus they are washable and come with a Mesh Laundry Bag so that you can just throw them into a load of wash every time you do a load of laundry. I found that I just throw them in there and then I let them air dry but put them on top of the dryer and they dry just as fast that way from the heat coming off of the dryer. They are the perfect solution to those days that you just don’t want anyone to notice that you are wearing a pad at all. I am going to order more when I get some money maybe after a placement or something. Another cool thing about the LunaPads is they last for 5 years compared to the disposable ones that you have to throw away. To me it’s like your throwing your money away every time that you use a disposable.

I really admire the Lunagals for creating their company- what a great idea to promote natural, healthy, and comfortable feminine care products! No more sticky, smelly, plastic pads.
Unfortunately, I can’t afford these pads and am stuck with using washcloths. Any pad would be nice and appreciated. They are beautiful.

I hope this is allowed, but I already have a Lunapads intro kit (from last year’s long-lasting New Year’s resolution), and my favorite is the mini pad.
