A “Not-So-Scary” Halloween Giveaway!!!

I was recently contacted by YouCanMakeThis.com and was very lucky enough to receive an ebook from them called “Fancy Filled Tutu’s” to read, use and review. I haven’t made any of the tutus just yet but do plan on making a few for my daughter, her friends and even my niece, Keali. Well this ebook is amazing because it has some really cute ideas on how to make a cute tutu with fun filled things in them. I’ve never seen them before this book and was amazed at how easy it looks to make and sew too. I’ve always known how to sew but this makes it look even simpler. I’ve personally have made the no-sew tutus for Olivia and a few people but haven’t done it in a while either just because it seems like my daughter had no interest in them until she started dance. She now wants to wear one every day to school and every time she goes to dance. I will even allow her to wear them to bed and after she’s fallen asleep I go in and pry it off of her.

Youcanmakethis.com is a very cool site! I like how they have several different ebooks that have a lot of easy “recipes” to make cool projects for all kids. I think my favorite in the ebook that I received from them was the pumpkin one and the pirate one. Only because the pumpkin one looks so fall like and the pirate is just plain cute. Plus they both can be used for Halloween costumes as well. How awesome is that? If Olivia didn’t already have a Halloween costume I’m sure I’d make her the pirate one so that she could go around to each house saying “argh!” as she already does since we have East Carolina University nearby.
