I have to say that my daughter Olivia loves watching The VeggieTales all the time. She has a lot of their movies already and has a few cds as well to listen to in the car or in her room. I was recently sent a copy of VeggieTales newest DVD called “Saint Nicholas: A Story of Joyful Giving” which I was very excited about getting to review. Olivia too was very excited about viewing it as well since it had her two favorite characters in it, Bob & Larry. She has learned a lot of good lessons via VeggieTales and also stories from the Bible as well through them. They make good sense and to me they help out in teaching our children about the stories in the Bible and about Jesus and God and everyone else in the Bible. I love how this story tells the story about who Saint Nicholas is and about how it’s not always about receiving gifts but it’s about giving too. I remember being in Catholic School in Maryland and learning about who Saint Nicholas was and learning the true meaning of Christmas. No it isn’t about Santa Claus but it’s about the little baby in the manger. The DVD is really cute and we have truly enjoyed watching this movie. You can purchase this movie through any major retailer.
