I don’t have Diabetes but I do have family history of my grandmother having it and I’m sure that it’s in my genes too. I hate genetics sometimes when it comes to this because you never know when it will hit you. But I want to be sure to avoid getting diabetes by starting up a new weight loss plan. I received a book called “The Weight Loss Plan for Beating Diabetes” by Frederic J. Vagnini, M.D., FACS and Lawrence D. Chilnick. This book is not only a great weight loss plan but it also helps you get healthy and in tune with your body. I loved reading this book because my grandmother was a strict diet and it was hard to sometimes get her to eat the right things that she needed. This book not only has a lot of different ideas in getting your weight down and to stay down but it has motivation in it too which is sometimes what we all need. I know that I do sometimes. I can be sometimes a little hard headed when it comes to working out or watching what I eat. And with that said I don’t want diabetes to creep up on me. I have a good friend who has it and she has a difficult time getting it under control and I don’t want to go through that either. This is a 5-step program that removes metabolic roadblocks, sheds pounds safely and reverses prediabetes and diabetes. I am keeping this book and will be trying it out soon after the new year comes along. I need to lose weight too so that I can be happy with myself and so that I can be around for my daughter in the long run without being really sick.
