The Male Factor Book Review

I love getting new books to read and this book was very helpful and insightful to what happens in the Male oriented work places. I used to work in a grocery store and a bank where I felt like no matter how hard I worked or how many hours I put in that it just wasn’t going to stand up to what a man could bring to the table. Us women are sometimes told that we can’t do something like a man can do or that we are just not good enough. As much as don’t want to say that we are not emotional or cause too much drama but I mean geesh we too can work just as hard if not harder than they can. And we mean business. This book “The Male Factor” by Shaunti Feldhahn was written a little too well if you as me. There are several good pointers in the book that make you sit back and think about what else is happening in this workplace for men but we too are just as good workers. Yes we do sometimes go a little overboard on the way we dress and have to coordinate everything to go with what we are wearing for the day but we too have a good strong head on our shoulders too. We too can do everything a man can do in the workplace and we would sometimes like to be given a little more credit than we get. But overall this book is a good one to read especially if your career is in what is supposed to be a “man’s” career and yet the world seems to be getting along just fine with the way that us woman work too. Not only does it show that we have leadership skills but it also teaches you new ones too. I highly recommend this book and to have in the workplace too. It’s a good one to fall back on if you are having a bad day at work like I was earlier this week. I have really enjoyed reading this book. This book can be purchased through any major retailer bookstore out there.
