Easy Stroll Review

I have two strollers that I use. I have a large cumbersome one and I have my small, Lightweight one that I love. Well whenever we go to a place that has a lot of walking to do and Olivia doesn’t feel much like walking then we carry the large one with us. I neccessarily don’t care for that one because it sometimes hurts my back when using it because I have to bend down or I can’t control it with one hand or I hit my feet on the back of the stroller. Well thanks to this pretty neat contraption that I received to review strolling with the large stroller is so worth it now. It has been recommended by doctors and even Chiropractors. I work for a chiropractor and you have no idea how many people we see a day to where their backs are hurting from bending over and playing with the kids and pushing stroller and what not. So the Easy Stroll is the perfect answer for every parent, grandparent, aunts and uncles and friends. It’s super easy to install on your stroller. But let me tell you now that this does not work well on an umbrella stroller that has two handles instead of one. I could only install one on my large stroller rather than the lightweight one. It’s a great product to get for new parents too because it’s something that would help keep their back in-line, will help you walk straighter and not allow you to trip over the basket on the back of the stroller (big deal for me with long legs).

Zoo Packs by Skip*Hop

With children returning back to school for the year it’s hard to say that finding the right sized backpack for your toddler is sometimes hard. Well I found a really cute backpack that is the perfect size for a toddler/preschooler/kindergartner. They are called Zoo Packs and they are made by Skip*Hop. They are the perfect size for your little one and they are a huge hit for sure. We were sent the Mouse Zoo Pack and Olivia fell in love with it the first time she saw it. She had to use it immediately because it was her favorite color, Pink!!! They have other Zoo Pack Backpacks as well like the Penguin, Dog, and Monkey. I love how these packs do fit the child well but some of the other things that I love about this backpack is that it is BPA Free, Phthalate-Free, and PVC Free. They are super roomy, has a insulated front pouch to keep drinks and snacks cool and has a mesh bottle pocket on the side to keep your child’s water bottle upright and not all over the place. They are super easy to clean and even has a name tag on the inside to write your childs name on it. I’m even afraid that someone will try and claim this backpack because it’s super cute!!!

Skip*Hop has more products like cool looking diaper bags that even cling onto your stroller to help keep your things neat and so you won’t be lugging the bag on your back or trying to shove it under the stroller on a smaller stroller (it just won’t happen that way.) They even have a really cool bath toy organizer that is really neat. It just attaches to your tub siding and it looks very neat and clean. All of their items that they have are something that is practical and will last for a long time.

I plan on ordering some things from Skip*Hop for my niece for Christmas because there are some things that I’m sure that her parents will love!! Thank you to Skip*Hop for allowing me to review this amazing product! We Love it!!!

Hatley Nature Review

I have to say that finding cute PJ’s in my size is sometimes a little difficult but I was sent a very nice set from Hatley Nature and have to say they are my favorite pair out there. I love the way that they fit and how comfortable they are. I received the Go Fish Pajama Pants and Go Fish Screen Print TShirt. Both of which I love. I have to say that they are amazing products and they wash very well too and I don’t have to worry about them shrinking much at all. I like to wear them even out to Walmart which I have done about 3 times already. I mean we’re talking about the local Wally World and it’s not a huge deal to me of what I look like. I love this set for sure. I actually plan on getting another pair on my next paycheck.

Hatley Nature also has other products for the rest of the family. That means that I can get my dad something for father’s day from this online store and also can get something for Olivia too. I love how all of their products are made with qaulity and have a great price too. I do recommend this site to everyone out there because you will be able to find something for everyone on this site.

Bright Star Kids Labels

I have to say that with Olivia starting school in a new school I am worried about her losing her things or things being taken. Well have no fear because there is a way to actually get around that. All you have to do is get some Bright Star Kids Labels. We have the School Labels Value Kit and absolutely love them. I love how they actually have enough labels to probably last an entire school year and to also be able to put labels in her shoes and also iron some onto her clothing. What more could you ask for huh? I know that sometimes we all misplace things but I know having a kindergartner will be even more upkeep because if she misplaces things now then it’s only going to happen in school too. I received the labels about a week ago and I have to say the quality of them are amazing. Olivia fell in love with her labels that she wanted to try them out immediately. I allowed her to put a few labels onto her things that she uses for school so they won’t get lost forever. Plus I love the fact that when we were making up the labels we were allowed to put our phone number on them because say if something were to be sent home by accident with another child they can just pick up the phone and call us and let us know. How awesome is that?

They also have new labels for your kids bags which is awesome too. I’m so lucky in saying that Olivia has a new backpack that has her name on it but I am still going to look into getting the labels for her bag so that it won’t be sent home with anyone else. The labels are not too expensive too so you could get plenty for you kids without breaking the bank. I highly recommend getting Bright Star Kids Labels for every parent out there!

Three Peas Co.

A few weeks ago I went onto my Linked In account and signed up to join an amazing group for parents and reviewers. Who would have known I would have found such an amazing and awesome company through the group. Well I received a very nice package from the owner of the company, Three Peas Co. and have to say that the product that she sent for my daughter is just what my daughter is into…dresses. Once Olivia saw the dress it was a hands down perfect fit for her. She has asked to wear the dress all week long which of course sometimes is not what she needs to wear to school but I did allow her to wear it today because it was so warm out…giving it was almost 90 here today in Eastern NC.

We received the Black Tank Gown that has a picture of a flower on it and has a floral skirt that lines the bottom of the dress. Then we also received a beautiful hair clip to match the dress. Olivia has fallen in love with both of the items that she’s telling me that she’d love to have another dress. I’m thinking of ordering a Pillowcase dress for her and also ordering something for my niece Keali.

I love how Three Peas Co is a online Boutique Store and how the products are made with quality and have a beautiful distinct look to them. I’m thinking of taking Olivia downtown and doing a photoshoot of her wearing her outfit she received and seeing how they will come out. I’m sure they’ll come out just as beautiful as the pictures that were taken of her before. The companies prices are not bad either because honestly I think they are doable especially for handmade looking clothing. I know that I can’t find anything this cheap around here even at the boutique stores we have. I highly recommend using Three Peas Co. and highly suggest you check them out. You will be surprised that the owner has something for everyone!

Smartie Pants Review

Do you have a daughter or granddaughter who honestly can’t seem to keep their dresses down or they like to play hard and forget they have a dress on? Do they go to a private school where wearing jumpers or skirts is required? Well I remember back in the day when I myself went to a Catholic school in the greater DC area and I hated the jumpers we had to wear. I would always fuss about not being able to wear shorts in the warmer months and pants in the cooler months because I was very active as a child. I would be the one who was hanging from a tree limb, climbing trees or just running and forgetting that I had a dress on. Well those times were embarrassing for sure but now I don’t have to worry about that same problem with Olivia. I have found the perfect solution and it is called the Smartie Pants. They are designed for parents who want to keep their child modest or just protect them from the sick people out there. I for one have to say that having a child who has ADHD and dress wearing is a job in itself because she is always running, jumping, twisting, twirling, and doing flips. Rascals & Routine’s Bedtime Book & More

Olivia for about a year has been on a nightly routine for bedtime and yes we do get off it every now and then but we always get back on it. Well I was lucky enough to be able to review this amazing bedtime routine that is Olivia’s favorite thing to look forward to at night on school nights. The Rascals & Routines Carry Me Everywhere Suitcase is amazing! It comes with a neat little suitcase, a blanket that has a pocket for the 5 finger puppets and a hardback book to read. The finger puppets are so cute because they all represent something to do before you go to bed like one is brushing your teeth, and picking up your room. I mean how many of us struggle with getting the kids to pick up before they go to bed. We have always struggled with this and now we don’t have a problem with it. Olivia does everything in the book like it suggests and Olivia loves to march around the room while picking up her room. The book has some great things for the kids to get ready like taking a bath at bedtime. Now I know that we don’t always get a bath but with Olivia’s imagination we have pretend baths and it’s great. We have really enjoyed this book and the finger puppets. Olivia and I will continue to get this book and adventure every night when it’s bedtime. Plus the blanket is a nice addition at bedtime too. We tuck the puppets in bed and then its time to put Olivia to bed. So all in all this is a great adventure to venture at bedtime every night. I will continue to do this at bedtime with Olivia! L.L. Bean Backpacks & Lunch Boxes

Just before school started for Olivia I ordered her a backpack and lunch box from L.L. Bean. I was at first a little hesitant to order it because of the price but I sucked it in and ordered one. I ordered Olivia the Junior Original Book Pack and had her name monogrammed on there. I ordered the color pink and thought it would be rose color but it’s more like a hot/rose pink. The color is perfect for Olivia and it’s wonderful. It’s just the right size for Olivia and it holds all of the items that she needs to take each day to pre-k. This backpack is perfect for children who are in preschool, pre-k and kindergarten.

As for the lunch box, it’s great! Olivia has taken her lunch a few times this year and absolutely loves it. The color matches her backpack and it’s the perfect size for her to carry two drinks, a snack pack or jello container, her sandwich and a snack and spoon.

I highly recommend getting both of these items if you have a child in school or if you want to get it for someone else in your family. They are both quality made products for I know because I still have my original backpack from L.L. Bean that I received in the 10th Grade. It still looks brand new and I put it through a lot of wear and tear. Another nice thing with L.L. Bean Backpacks is they have a lifetime guarantee so even though I could get a new backpack with my old one I just figured mine has been through high school and I like the one I have now. It’s an awesome backpack and lunch box and next year Olivia will continue to use the same one and then will get a new one for 1st grade.

Ikea Children’s Silverware

Earlier this year I took a trip to the Ikea in Woodbridge, VA to see about getting a kitchen table but instead ended up purchasing several items other than that. I wanted to get Olivia some nice silverware that she could use for a good long time and some that included a knife as well. I ended up purchasing two bags of the Kalas Childrens Cutlery for only $1.99 a bag that contained 18 pieces (6 sets of 6 different colors).

After months of use these items are still holding up to their quality and name. Yes for only $1.99 I got a great deal and some silverware that we’ll be using for a good long time. Ikea has all sorts of different items for Children to use and we also that day picked up a stool for her to use in the bathroom or whereever she needed it for only $1.99 (it was on sale), normally $3.49. Now you can’t beat that at all. So for only $6 dollars I got some great deals and some awesome products. I’ll be purchasing more products from Ikea in the near future.
