I will say this. I have bought more than enough strollers so far since the birth of Olivia. I’m a stroller addict if you must know. I’m always looking for the latest and brightest strollers because honestly I want to see if my almost 6 year old can fit in them. Just kidding but really I always like to visit Babies ‘R Us whenever I am in Raleigh to see what new strollers they have. Well I have to say that of all the strollers that I’ve had my favorite has got to be the Lightweight Strollers. The one that we are currently using now is the Maclaren Volo and we have found it to be very lightweight and easy to use.

I did a lot of research online and if it wasn’t for me going to Raleigh that same day I got the stroller I would have purchased it online from shopwiki. I have to say that having just one child and going through so many strollers I’ve seen them all. We’ve had a Full Sized Stroller (travel system), an Umbrella One and also we’ve had one of those Jogging Strollers too. The only thing that I would have to say with the jogging stroller is that I wish I had a single one instead of a double one like I had. I decided that having a double one was way too much for me and Olivia. Seeing how I only had one child and it was a hassle to try and get through the door at the library too. Not good. But otherwise I’d love to have another jogging stroller so that we can go on long walks or I could actually go for a nice jog with Olivia in tow. She’d love it and I’d get a great workout in too! Plus I could use it when my niece came to visit too since she’s only 1.

Another great thing about researching and shopping online is you can also get really great deals on baby carriers, booster seats and more. I now only wish my baby was still a baby! Then I have a real reason to go shopping for cute baby clothes, and baby items. One day I’ll get my wish but just not at this time.

She was almost hitting the 40lb mark and we were afraid that she wouldn’t be able to use the Graco Stroller much longer. Plus we were thinking of going to Disney World this Fall/Winter and wanted to have a lightweight stroller to take on the plane and in the parks. Well I had tried out many of the strollers in the store and loved it when I found the Maclaren Volo Stroller. I found that it was very light weight. Could close with one foot and it would support a child up to 65lbs. It also has the 5 point harness on the stroller to use which we have to use quite often with Olivia just as a safety measure with her. She has yet figured out how to get out of it compared to her other strollers to where she’d figure it out. The stroller is very lightweight indeed and when it’s closed it has a nice handy strap to carry it on your back. Perfect for us. Plus it fits well in the trunk of a car compared to the other large stroller we had. Well more than we ever expected. We have been using this stroller now since April and we absolutely love it. We take it everywhere and it did wonders while we took a trip to Kings Dominion in July with my cousin. I have recommended this stroller to a lot of other mothers and for the price tag of $100 I though it was just perfect. The only thing I wish it had was a larger basket to hold your things in. Other than that it’s great!!!

The above picture is my daughter making a silly face in the Maclaren Stroller.
